Organized by: Mary Pliska
Catherine has been suffered from debilitating Manic Depression with Anxiety disorder. She has a list of other health problems as well. She has anxiety attacks that often leave her struggling to catch her breath. Sounds sometime bother her if she can not identify it right away often leaving her distressed. She can easily be overwhelmed and overestimated by her surroundings causing anxiety attacks. Her thoughts race as her mind goes in two dozen directions. The past eight to ten years she hasn't been able to function like a normal person in society untill recently. A more accurate description would be a slightly less than the individuals in the movie with Robin Williams, "The Awakenings". She has awakened and can now function in a higher functionality of life. Catherine has been in an extensive mental outpatient rehabilitation center for over a year now. Through on going therapy, medication, a great medical team of therapist/nurses/doctors, and hard work; she is now able to conquer her goal...employment. Through your contributions, Catherine will be able to obtain the necessary car repairs, transportation costs, the confidence and pride she has desperately been seeking. Can you contribute to her successful future? I truly hope and believe you can. She is definitely worth it!
