Hello, first of all thank you for reading this. Now My name is Don. I had a wonderful career as a Deputy Sheriff in the state of South Carolina. In 2010 I suffered a heart attack. I am a strong willed person and after a few short weeks I returned to work. In 2011 I began to notice that I was not the same man I was before, I tired easy and seemed "outta shape". I learned that my original diagnosis of a mild heart attack was wrong! I had suffered a massive heart attack. My Doctor called it the widow maker. He immediately stopped me from my career. I never worked another day as a Deputy. A pacemaker/defibrillator was implanted in a few weeks, because my heart only pumps 30% of it's volume out to my body. I was devastated, I was not ready to be retired at 42. I am struggling to get by on my retirement alone and I am currently trying for Social Security Disability. That was the hardest thing for me to do to ask the government for help. I fought doing that for a long time until I went to Vocational Rehab to see if they could help me find a job I could do. They turned me down due to all the restrictions my Doctor placed on me. I have always made my own way in this world and worked hard for what I do have. please help me provide for my family. Now why you are reading this, I am raising money to go to school to teach me the skills to be a better leather carver. the school is in New Mexico and costs $1000 to attend a 5 day course. I will travel and stay there for the course. Please help me attain my goal of being able to further my knowledge in this endeavor of leather crafting
