Help Melissa Become a California Wine Appellation Specialist
Organized by: Melissa Vogt
EVENT DATE Aug 08, 2014
For the past four years, I have been writing about food and wine for Examiner.com. Writing has always been a passion of mine and writing about food and wine has become an even greater passion. After receiving my MA in English from Sonoma State University, I started working for Wine Country This Week---focusing on production, writing, and social media. In these capacities, I have worked with wineries in California from as far south as Paso Robles and as far north as Mendocino County.
It is my hope to gain more knowledge about California wine and the wine industry as a whole in order to give my writing more credibility and a wider knowledge base. I know that becoming a California Wine Appellation Specialist will strengthen my ability to taste wine and my ability to write about wine.
I hope that you will support me by donating money for the tuition cost to become a California Wine Appellation Specialist. The course takes place over 3 days in Napa and costs $1,450. The course begins in just one week---August 8th!
If you would like to know more about the California Wine Appellation Specialist course, you can see the course overview here: CWAS Course Overview.
