Dear Friends, Family & Fellow Humanitarian,
As we have rung in a new year, 2015, I'd love to for this year to bring answered prayers to help those with Cystic Fibrosis by supplying funds to doctors battling this urgent fight. Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that causes the body to over produce mucus in a person's lungs and pancreas making it difficult to breathe and absorb nutrients from food. This daily struggle often leads to lung infections, decreases lung function and premature death. Life expectancy for current children and adults with Cystic Fibrosis is a young age of 37 years old.
My nephew, Liam is currently 10 years old living with Cystic Fibrosis and I love the crazy guy I can't imagine our family without him. Over the next few months I will be training yet again for the Rock CF Half Marathon in honor of Liam. I imagine many runs with eyelash icicles, melted snow hydrating and disappearing footprints quickly filled with snow. None of these adventurous challenges come close to the hour by hour challenges a person with Cystic Fibrosis. Will you join me in fighting for him and so many others like him by donating to help ROCK Cystic Fibrosis?
With MUCH appreciation and love,
