Help my Dad Kick Cancers Butt

And he is cancer free!
July 19, 2016
This July, my dad Jim Castagna was diagnosed with throat cancer. He had lost his voice a few months back, and just thought this was a cold or allergies. When the symptoms continued for over a few months, he knew something else may be wrong. He nervously went to the doctor to figure out what this could possibly be. They did some tests, more tests and some more tests and determined he had a cancerous mass on one of his vocal cords.
It has been both inspiring and difficult watching my Dad begin this fight. He remains extremely light-hearted and positive about winning his fight against a disease that affects too many people these days. His days of working then hanging with buddies after work, may now be filled with many appointments and unpleasant treatment for some time- and all of your words of encouragement, love and support mean so much to him already and really help him stay positive.
With several months of chemotherapy & radiation lying ahead, my dad could really use our support. My family and I have created this page just to do that. Funds raised through this site will go towards his continued fight in, and ultimate defeat of, this battle with cancer.
