Update and Thank You
May 21, 2016
Nicholas Pavlou was been diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma in May 2014. He has undergone several treatments, including one that caused him to suffer renal failure and he now requires dialysis every other day. This added complication along with the aggressiveness of his disease leaves his doctors in Cyprus and Germany with very few options to move forward. One of these options is Nivolumab, a therapy that shows great promise but comes with a tremendous cost. We are a large family and up until now have needed very little help from the public. But funds are running dry and with this as Nicholas' only option for remission we kindly ask everyone who can help to press the donate button and help us save Nicholas' life.
A few words about Nicholas:
Nicholas is from Chirokitia, Cyprus. He is 20 years old and has been in Germany for the past several months for his treatments. His family has put everything on hold and is by his side supporting him. This has been a very difficult time for all of them especially since it has just been a year since Nicholas lost his grandmother to a lengthy cancer battle and now the family has to relive the emotional stress all over again . Nicholas is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. He is a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, boyfriend and friend to many. From a child he was always tinkering with tools and dreams of becoming a mechanic with his own shop. He has always been the most down to earth, kindest, and giving person and now he is in need of a favor. Any donation would help his cause. Please find it in your hearts to help him!
