Ghana, a population of 24 million, is a small country with over 100 different ethnic groups. 40% of the population lacks access to clean drinking water and the majority are currently drinking fecally contaminated water. Saha Global's Water Program partners with local communities to train community women entrepreneurs to start businesses that will provide fresh water for the whole community. Saha Global does not stop after implementing these businesses but frequently visits each business and town to fix any problems that arise and to support the community. This program is making an amazing difference in the world, and I am so grateful to be part of such a great movement. The $3000 I am raising includes the start up material for the business. This includes large barrels to decontaminate the water as well as smaller jugs to hold enough water for a each family, as well as the start up flocculant and and chlorine tablets to treat the water. Thank you so much! All donations are greatly appreciated!
