Help Our Sick Kitty
Organized by: Christina Lloyd
Skiba is a 14yo Chocolate/Black American Shorthair whom we rescued in 2004 from a College Student. He is deeply loved by all in my family. On 1/4/16, he was diagnosed as being in kidney failure. We're devastated, but refused to euthanize him for he's still so full of life. Our vet bill was $471. We took care of that, but Skiba will require long-term care. Aside from vet visits & labs, he now has to eat Prescription Cat Food and I have to give him medication as well as administer an IV 2 times a week with the help of my teenage daughter. He is her "Everything'. He's not giving up, he's an energetic cat. Our vet says with treatment he'll live a long life. Anything, no matter how small, will be a huge help to my family and greatly appreciated. If you would prefer to donate directly to my vet's office, I can give you their info. Thank you for your time and hearing our plea. Animals can make all the difference...he changed our lives.
