Save Party Ponies
Organized by: Abby Hagan
Three years ago, Chrissy Perlowski began living her dream of owning a party pony business. Since then, her business has taught dozens of children how to ride (including several with special needs), given horses a good home that needed one, and has given joy to hundreds of kids by bringing horses and ponies to birthday parties and events where kids would not have otherwise been able to have an experience with horses. Last year she decided to invest in an indoor arena to be able to run all year round. She had it all planned out, and had saved enough money plus extra for the arena and it's set up. Since then, she has hit brick wall after brick wall. A two week project stretched into several months of waiting on permits, vet bills, and being unable to do lessons for going on 4 months with over $10,000 more expenses than originally planned. Now she is paying monthly for an arena that is not yet set up with winter weather that may make it unable to be set up till spring. Long story short, she has run out of money and hope. I just can't stand to sit back and watch her business go under. She has been too good of an asset to our community, and has helped too many kids to go through the amount of stress and debt she has now. Please consider donating to this small business so she may continue to give joy to all the kids and families she works with. Also, if you have any large equipment such as lifts, she is in need of those to finish the arena since her husband is building it himself.
