Help Repair Dahlia's Leg
Organized by: Meagan Porter
Dahlia turns 3 in July. Before my husband and I got married we took her into our family after a soldier was giving her away because he didn't have time for her. She has been with us for two years now and has been the best family pet we could ever as for. She is gentle and kind and we often refer to as the mother hen. She is great around all animals, including baby chickens! She is even careful around babies. Recently Dahlia began jumping the fence. Since then she has developed a chronic limp in her rear leg. She now will bear very little weight on it, despite the pain she is in, Dahlia is still happy. My husband and I want to fix her leg. We don't want her to live in pain but we are unable to cover the cost of the surgery she is likely going to need. We love Dahlia, we'd never want to lose her or have her even lose use of her leg. We know everyone goes through rough times. Any donation is beyond appreciated.
