Help Save Laura from a recurrence of Lung Cancer!
Organized by: Joshua Fuquay
Good Day, Our names are Josh and Rebecca. And we need all the help, love, support, if at all possible help our friend Laura. Laura has struggled by lonesome, having endured, and survived an unfathomable number of heart wrenching tragic series of traumatic life events which no person should ever have to endure. By just talking to her, it is easy to sense it is purely Love that fuels her fortitude and resilience. The love she carries within her, gave her the strength in 2009 to fight and overcome of Lung Cancer (a non-smoking caused occurrence). Less than a year later, her beloved daughter Alexandra, whom she was extremely close to (and whom was her last living family member) had developed Leukemia at the young age of 20 years old. Both Laura, and her daughter, Alexandra, desperately battled side by side against the Leukemia that year; having taken every chance and opportunity available no matter how slender the odds were, to overcome Alexandra’s Leukemia… But ultimately, the Leukemia proved to be too aggressive. . . During October of 2010, Laura’s soul and whole world had been crushed, when she had laid her daughter Alexandra down to rest... As we understand it, Laura is still paying off medical bills and funeral expenses for her daughter. How she’s been able to manage such a strenuous financial burden is beyond either of us... We all have had a lucky break as her recurrence of Lung Cancer was caught somewhat early, but she lacks the proper resources to pursue effective treatment to fight off a second Lung Cancer occurrence. She is a wonderful, compassionate and ever so caring person who has dedicated her career and life in the service of others. We truly believe the world is a better place with her in it, please help if at all possible to give her the necessary tools to overcome a second strike of Lung Cancer. Thank you, -Rebecca and Joshua.
