BENEFITING: Comfort Zone Camp
Comfort Zone Camp is the nation's largest bereavement camp. Camps are offered free of charge to kids between the ages of 7-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary care giver. There are also camps for young adults.
CZC provides grieving children with an environment where they can heal and break the isolation that death often brings. Camps are held year-round in California, Massachusetts, Virginia, and New Jersey, and plans to (hopefully) extend to Texas.
This cause is particularly important to me because my dad passed away from cancer when I was 18. I wish I would have known about this then because it's a truly inspiring place. I love getting to know the campers and the fact that not only is it healing for them, it is healing for me as well.
Thanks so much for your support!
