help Tessa walk!!
Organized by: Andree Klatt
Tessa is an adorable little girl who's had struggles from the moment she's made her debut in this world. Born 9 1/2 weeks early, she suffered a major brain bleed and required brain surgery. She was also diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth due to a lack of oxygen. What makes Tessa so special is that she doesn't let her differences get in the way of having a great time! She's all smiles and all heart! Anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her leaves with a giant smile on their face! She's my gift and now I want to be able to give something to her!! Tessa became a big sister, and with that, we saved her sisters cord blood and stem cells. We've heard of many stories involving cases where kids who were in Tessa's situation, actually get great results!!! You see, Tessa is unable to walk or talk. She has no trunk control and shouldn't be able to even sit on her own. But this little fighter has proven doctors wrong and has,on many occasions, pulled herself from laying to sitting position! She says about 5 words. Her condition is all physical, nothing mental. I just want to be able to give my daughter anything and everything in my power to make her life a little easier. She has given me so much already, I want to be able to do the same! This is where, I'm hoping, your help comes in! We've saved the cord blood and stem cells. What we need is help with funding for the flight, stay and surgery which needs to take place in Austria. Tessa would be spending 3 weeks recovering with doctors watching over her. I would not leave her side! Researching stem cell transplant on kids with cerebral palsy might give you all a glimpse into what we might go through and what could come out of it. I'm not asking for the world, I'm asking for help for my precious daughter, who we absolutely love, have a chance to tell her mommy she loves her, or for her to know what it feels like to stand on her feet, feeling the grass between her toes or running through the sand at the beach.
