For the abuse, neglected, no education single mom, a little money goes a long way.
This is dedicated to my younger sister who has had a very rough life. At 16, she was raped by my ex-husband who I immediately got a divorced from because my sister meant to me more than life itself. When she married, she married with the thought of having a wonderful & loving family, a supported husband and have the opportunity to go to school & have a profession but her life just went fast forward to a nightmare. Her husband was an alcoholic and very abusive. He would start on arguments and beat her. Tragically, he raped her oldest daughter and he was sent to prison. She then started having complications with her health; tumors, ulcers, liver problems, migranes that eventhough she tried to held a job and go to college it just wouldn't work out. As a single mother of five, she would live homeless at times and when she did have a place to live, they lived either with electricity or water ,one or the other because she couldn't afford it.
My sister is 40 yrs. old and last month she got released from the hospital from a suicide attempt. She swallowed a bottle of pills and drank a huge bottle of alcohol. The doctors said if they hadn't called 911 on time, her heart would've stopped. She wanted to end her life because she saids her health doesn't help her to live a better life especially now that she is a grandmother.
I always try to help my sister her as much as I can but I also barely make ends meet, if someone out there that can help me help her, it would be a blessing just to make her life a little better. I would keep you posted with pics and postings to let you know how she and her family is doing. God bless you!
