THE STORY:

The Warehouse Venue needs $5,500 to purchase a sound system by February or we will be forced to shut our doors. Help us as we continue to build a community around Music and Jesus Christ.

This is our story...

The History Of THE WAREHOUSE VENUE

My name is Doug Button. My friends and I had a crazy idea to create a safe place where young people, musicians and music lovers alike can experience the power of community and local music in one safe location. In 2012, we put our heads together and started brainstorming just how we could make this idea a reality. Through hard work, networking, and the support of our church, we launched our first concert in 2013. That year we did a total of 3 shows and had over 500 people through our doors. In 2014, we had 3-4 shows a month as we were committed to making this venue a consistent place where youth can spend time and find purpose and hope through the community we were building. In 2015, we kept with the same schedule having events as often as possible. This venue has had testimony after testimony from young people that have been changed by the love and community provided within these 4 walls.

THE COLLECTIVE

On January 4, 2016, we launched a brand new ministry within The Warehouse Venue called The Collective. The mission statement of The Collective is this: "The Collective is a group of young adults building an atmosphere of worship to enable authentic encounters with Christ. We are imperfect people determined to find and live out purpose in our daily lives. The Collective exists because we have been radically changed by Jesus Christ." This ministry is set to take place every Monday night, year round. With The Warehouse Venue shows going strong and The Collective running every week, 2016 is destined for life changing impact like we have never seen.

THE GOAL

For the past 3 years we have had the support of our church and a friend who has been willing to let us use his sound system for a small fee to make it possible to do what we do best. Due to circumstances outside of our control, come February, we will no longer have the sound system available for us. This poses the very direct possibility that we will have to close our doors and not continue living out our mission to change the lives of the people in our reach.

This is where you guys come in. With our mission being to reach youth and young adults, we have not been able to bring in a lot of funds as we try to make every event affordable for anyone who would want to come. We need YOU to help us raise enough funds to buy a sound system and keep our doors open. We have quoted an entire system that will be a perfect set up for everything we need to do at The Warehouse and The Collective for right at the $5,500 mark. If we can successfully raise $5,500 we will be able to purchase and install our new sound system ultimately keeping our doors open.

Please help us as we continue to dedicate our lives to helping the current and upcoming generations find hope, purpose and community within The Warehouse Venue.

Thank you,

Doug Button
