PARAMEDICS FOR CHILDREN INC's Fundraiser:

Help us get Sinthia the medicine she needs

PARAMEDICS FOR CHILDREN INC's Photo

THE STORY:

This is a fund raiser for Sinthia Valles a little girl that lives in Honduras and has West Syndrome. She is in a wheel chair and suffers from (infantile spasms). There is a new drug out on the market called Charlotte's web made from a special strain of marijuana also high in CBD and low in THC. This medicine can only be obtained in the USA and to get it for this child we will need to get a visa for her to go to the USA,

Sinthia lives with us at the Hacienda La Esperanza in Copan Ruinas ( the headquaters for Paramedics For Children in Honduras) where we have cared for her for the last 3 years.

The process to get her to the USA will take about 20 days if we have the funding in place. She will then be taken to a doctor waiting to receive her and given a medical exam and a prescription for this new medicine. All indications are that she will do well on this new drug. Sinitha is 10 years old and although she cannot not talk she loves to laugh and watch Dora the Explorer.

We don't have much, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to help out Sinthia, who we met while volunteering with Paramedics for Children. This little girl lights up the room and lit up our hearts in a matter of seconds. We pray this fundraising effort exceeds your wildest dreams and Sinthia can get the medicine she needs. 3 years ago
