THE STORY:

(sigue en español)

On January 2, President Obama’s administration launched a series of raids against undocumented families from Central America who came to the US seeking refuge from violence in their home countries. The first raids were conducted in the South in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas, and the Administration has indicated that it will continue to conduct more raids. The Southeast Immigrant Rights Network launched a petition through CREDO calling on President Obama to stop the raids; to date, more than 66,000 people have signed. Now it's time to deliver our message to the President---We Demand Dignity: End the Raids! A group of SEIRN members from several Southern states will travel to Washington to deliver the petition on Wednesday, January 27. But we need your help! Can you donate now to help our grassroots members get to D.C?
