Getting back on track fund
Organized by: Victor Torres
My name is Victor and I have found my self in a situation that even with a full time job, I was not able to make ends meet. I'm a single father with pride and have come to realize that I must place my pride aside for the sake of my 3 children and handicapped mother. I was recently evicted in October 2015 from my 2 bedroom apt in San Dimas CA. I had to send 2 of my children back to their moms home which is a bad enviorment and my other child to his moms home. My mother which I've taken care of and has lived with me for almost 5 years was placed in a convalescent home because of my current homeless status and her mental condition . I have always donated to the less unfortunate but always found it hard for me to ask anyone for a lending hand. It's unfortunate as a single dad with a full time job that I find myself in this predicament. It broke my heart not to be with my children this Christmas and not being able to give them any gifts at all. My daughter is 17 years old and will graduate high school on May 24th 2016 and I would like to buy her an outfit for that special day in her life. One of my son's is 11 years old and wants to continue playing pop Warner football which I currently cannot afford because I'm staying in a motel at $65 dollars a day in order to keep a roof over my head and keep my current full time job. I am looking for kind hearted people to find it in your heart to donate at least $10 which is the minimum requirement through this site to help me place a deposit on an apartment to get my family back together. My Ford Explorer was repossessed a few days ago and I need $960 to get it back as well. I am so embarrassed to put my story out like this but to be honest I am starting to lose all hope and am reaching out for a lending hand. I thank you if you donated today and may god bless you for the kind gesture of your $10 donation, if you are fortunate to be wealthy perhaps you can donate to help me achieve my goal.
