Xerem is a small town a few hours away from Rio de Janeiro located in Brazil's beautiful countryside. It is home to over 60 thousand people many of whom suffer from poverty. But for what the people lack in wealth, they make up for in hospitality, culture and an incredible sense optimism. This week many of these people's lives were changed forever as their homes, cars and possessions were washed away by a series of mudslides and severe flooding. Although we can not bring these things back, we can help mitigate the massive toll that this disaster is taking on the people and provide them with some necessary supplies such as clothes, food, water, dental and personal hygiene products to list a few. Any donation helps and will go directly to helping the people in need.
