At Bankers Life, we witness firsthand the impact that Alzheimer's disease has on our customers and their family members, many of whom are acting as caregivers. That's why in 2003 we established Bankers Life Forget Me Not Days, our nationwide fundraising campaign to benefit the Alzheimer's Association®.
Each year, we go out into the community to collect donations for local chapters of the Alzheimer's Association and raise awareness of the disease. In exchange for a donation, we hand out packets of Forget-Me-Not flower seeds and ask that they be planted in honor of the more than 5 million people living with Alzheimer's.
Donations advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. What started as a grassroots fundraiser has blossomed into a national fundraising campaign that has helped raise more than $4.5 million for the Alzheimer's Association through Bankers Life Forget Me Not Days collections and corporate donations.
