Please join Henry and the rest of his human & dog team for Safe Haven Family Shelter’s 11th Annual Hike for the Homeless!
There are two ways you can help:
1. Please consider making a General Team Donation to sponsor Henry's Hikers.
2. Better yet, Join Our Team and walk with us. Our dog, Henry, will lead the way.
Everyone who donates $25 or more will receive one Hike for the Homeless t-shirt.
By making a contribution to participate in the hike, you will help support the life-changing work of Safe Haven Family Shelter. For 30+ years, Safe Haven has been the only shelter-to-housing program in our community that serves homeless families with children. For less than $35 a day for a family of four, Safe Haven provides shelter, programs and services that help parents stabilize and get back on track to provide for their family, as well as intensive support to help children develop socially and academically.
Hike for the Homeless takes place Saturday, November 7th at Edwin Warner Park, Picnic Shelters #9 and 11. Registration and pre-hike activities begin at 9 a.m. The hike starts at 10 a.m. and takes about 1-1 ½ hours. The trail is paved and accommodates dogs (of course) and strollers, too. So bring the whole extended family!
It's a fun event with music and children’s activities, and a picnic lunch after the hike.
