Last year I entered the Mozart 100 race in Austria, running 100km to fundraise for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia. I came so agonisingly close to my goal, making it 85km before the wet weather got to me and my body gave out. So this year I am doing it all over again, to finish the 100km and raise more money for a cause close to my heart. Without the proper screening and treatment those born with CAH can face life-threatening conditions, and even when identified, those living with CAH need life-long treatment. However with early identification and management those living with CAH can go on to live normal lives. All money raised through this campaign will go directly to the CARES Foundation to help aid those families living with CAH and research into the condition. If those living with CAH can manage their condition for a whole lifetime, surely a short 100km is the least I can do! Help show your support, and help me through that extra 15km I couldn't cover last year!
