EVENT: 2015 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
Thank you for visiting my Boston Marathon 2015 homepage! I have committed to run Boston for The Herren Project (details below) and humbly ask for your support. Unlike so many out there who are struggling with the disease of addictiion, I was lucky enough to be able to find and afford treatment when I most desperately needed help. I had family and friends there to give me that helping hand when I was most powerless. The Herren Project, with your support, is helping those among our circle of friends and family who desperately need guidance, support and direction to get back on their feet, free from the horrible handcuffs of addiction from alcohol and/or drugs. Every step I take from Hopkinton to Boston, and the many miles I run prior in preparation for the Boston Marathon, are dedicated to the assisstance and recovery of those who need our help. I am living proof that every life is salvageable, every life is worth saving, and every addict can recover if only they have the will AND they have the support! I thank you in advance for any help you can give to The Herren Project, whether it be your prayers, kind words, or your generous donation (doesn't matter if it is 1 dollar or 1 thousand, I THANK YOU!),
The Herren Project is once again honored to participate in 2015 Boston Marathon, partnering with John Hancock Financial Services, the lead sponsor of the iconic marathon, to stand together with Boston, strong and determined to make a positive difference.
Please join The Herren Project as we provide assistance in taking the first steps toward recovery and a life of sobriety through treatment navigation, educational programs and mentoring resources. We seek to increase awareness on the signs of addiction and bring hope for a better tomorrow.
Step by step The Herren Project team is making a difference! For additional information please visit www.theherrenproject.org and www.goprojectpurple.com.
Thank you so much for your time and support,
