EVENT DATE: Sep 22, 2012
The runner that raises the most money for our team will receive one free registration to any of the races in the Movie Madness Race Series that they can use in the next year.
Our mission is to provide support to children and families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis, raise awareness, and donate funds towards the research of pediatric cancer.
As a foundation, we strive to bring smiles to a child’s face and relief to a families worry. We offer financial assistance to families fighting pediatric cancer in any way a family may request it. Each request is taken to our board members and looked at on an individual basis for approval. Please see our quarterly Hope For Cope Newsletter to see how your donations have directly helped these families in their greatest time of need.
When children are in the hospital or first face a pediatric cancer diagnosis we offer a Cope Care Kit. This is our home made goody bag of comfort filled with items to help kids and parents during this difficult time. The one item of most importance is a Pillow Pet to bring comfort to kids during their hospital stays, clinic visits or even while at home.
To help raise awareness and support the successful research of pediatric cancer we are proud to give monetary donations to Penn State THON, The Four Diamonds Fund, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and local mini-THON's in addition to providing support to other pediatric cancer foundations and donations to the Child Life Department of Penn State Hershey Medical Center's Pediatric Floor.
We also support an annual scholarship given to a graduating senior from a York County school district displaying similar characteristics that Jazmine embodied and her passion for helping others. For more information on our scholarship please see our Scholarship page. If you know of anyone that is in need of our help or would like to learn more about how you can get involved please contact us for more information. We look forward to hearing from you.
