The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge is an 8000 mile motorcyle endurance ride from Key West, Florida to Homer, Alaska starting on the 20th of July and must be completed within 14 days. Directions for the very specific route is unknown until the start of the event and at each checkpoint a new set of directions is provided. Very specific rules apply and must be adheared to through-out the event. Riders must stay on the route, riders cannot speed, riders must sleep within 5 feet of the motorcycle (no hotels allowed), riders cannot carry extra gas, riders must adhear to all rules of the road and riders must ride with honor, integrity and respect. The Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge (as an event) brings awareness of challenges faced by native Americans. I ride for that casue, but I also ride for Hole In The Wall Gang. Money gathered on this site goes to Hoe in the Wall and helps support their efforts. Any funding required to ride the 8000 mile Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge (Entry Fee, Fuel, Food, maintenace before, during and after, etc.) comes from my own personal funds. No money collected on this site (or any other site) comes to me. You can track my movement during the event through on-line US Tracking link. Specific link will be provided prior to the event. My rider number is 779.
