What I say:
I was initially hesitant to ask friends and strangers for money. I didn't want to feel like a charity case. But a conversation with one of my mentors changed my perspective. I'm not asking for charity.
I'm asking you to make an investment.
A "futures" investment, if you will. Stock symbol: MFK. And, hey, it's safe to say this stock is more transparent and subject to accountability than those on Wall St.
I'm on a quest for self-development and growth and the tides are starting to turn from vagabonding adventures and fun exploration to contribution. Though I'll forever be aspiring to my highest self, I'm ready to start focusing more seriously on contribution. I'm all over that Ghandi "be the change you want to see in the world"...I live as closely in alignment with my ideals as possible. But I want to amplify my impact. And StartingBloc says they can help me do it. (Read the official word below.)
If you want to make an investment in me and help me on my path, I'd be truly grateful. Will you give me $1? How about $5 or $20? I'll accept any amount with gratitude. And I hope I can pay it all forward, magnified a million times, in my lifetime.
You're the best.
