#Hike4Humanity 2016 Trip to Nepal
This year's annual JRM Foundation for Humanity trip is to Sindhupalchowk District in Nepal. Sindhupalchowk district was one of the two severely damaged districts after Nepal Earthquake in April 2015. We have done work in several villages there since then. It included rebuilding 26 homes in village Yangri, medical camps in several villages including Manekharka and children camps as well.
This year our team of some exceptional people will join me on this trip and will visit same areas and our objective is to keep doing some more good with our local friends. We will do three medical camps. Kids camps and activity camps, build few more home, visiting local brick factories and see how we can help break the chain of indentured servitude and slavery for some of the kids. Visit the family of the baby Norbu Lama whom I did dialysis when she was about 10 days old and in truma after the earthquake. She recovered and is growing beautifuly and healthy.
We will visit several villages and connect with local women regarding our 8For8 global initiative. Each member of our team pays their own way for this trip. they also raise money for the local projects and initiatives that they are part of.
