THE STORY:

Help us fight dropout rates, crime, obesity and boredom.

This Labor Day, I'll be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and have pledged to raise $1,000 for the Discover Outdoors Foundation. If I come shy, I'll be filling the gap personally.

Think about your favorite activity and the person that introduced it to you.

We are introducing city kids to activities like hiking, fishing, kayaking and using a compass. You can help them discover a passion by contributing to their outdoor education. Funds go to the gear, transportation and staff that keep this program free
