The Cause: Neema International is a non-profit organization that is committed to investing in the lives of East Africa’s promising youth through education and sustainable building projects.
What we'll be doing: The four of us are headed to Africa at the end of May to explore the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, volunteer at the Tuleeni Orphanage, and participate in a Mt. Kilimanjaro charity climb.
The Climb: 6 days, 42.3 miles, 19,341 feet to Uhuru Peak (highest peak in Africa, 4th highest of the Seven Summits).
Where the money is going: The money raised will be used to complete the construction of the new Tuleeni Orphanage Facility that will include an English Medium Private School for the Children in Kitandu Village, Uru.
