This fundraiser is so important because raising awareness to this disease should be important to everyone. If you personally haven't been affected, you most definitely know someone who has been. And that will unfortunately change drastically over the next decade. I want a cure more than anything for Alzheimer's. I lost my mom, Pam Prince, a year ago. She was 67 years old. I don't think my family knew she had it for as long as she did. I wish we could have caught it earlier. She had heart problems in the past needing stints put in; had breast cancer, and we thought that she couldn't possibly get anything else. But of course, bad things come in threes. Now that I am 30, I have a way better understanding of what she was going through, what my family and so may more are are dealing with on so many deeper levels. My mother was a smart, funny, loving woman who had a lot of life left to live. Her memory lives on by us helping others that are dealing with what she died from. I am asking that you help raise awareness with us in South Florida. My family is born and raised her in Palm Beach County and I was thinking that the Kravis Theater would be perfect. Please let me know what you think. I was hoping to do it in September of this year, a few weeks before our Walk to End Alz in West Palm Beach City Place just next door. I thank you for your time and really hope and pray and will give you my first born for you guys to do this event! :) Sincerely, Katie Prince Treehouzz ( and volunteer for Alzheimer's Associate and Logistics Chair for WPB Walk to End Alzheimer's) Cell: 561-386-4523 Email:
