BENEFITING: Rett Syndrome Research Trust
My family is raising money to fund research that will discover a cure for Rett Syndrome. Our daughter Sadie was diagnosed 2 months ago and faces a future of extreme challenges including lost mobility, speech and hand use. There are 350,000 girls & women who suffer from Rett Syndrome, one of the most insidious neurological disorders. The GOOD news is that a cure is to believed to be possible. The BETTER news is the cure may completely reverse the effects of the disorder. The Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT) is an organization dedicated to raising funds to drive research forward that will cure Rett. RSRT was founded and is run by Monica Coenraads, a mother of an 18-year old daughter who suffers from Rett Syndrome. She has raised $26 million thus far and needs another $7 million to finish what she's started. If we pull this off, Rett Syndrome will be the first brain disorder to be cured in the history of mankind. It's been proven in mouse models and the world's top scientists are committed to getting us to the finish line. We need your help!
