NYC SALT Photography Program has the chance to win $15,000 if we receive the most donations of all the HIVE organziations in the Mozilla Hive Challenge before Monday, November 3rd at 11:59am.
NYC SALT is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to use digital photography to engage, inspire and empower youth from under-served communities in New York City to reach their full potential. The program uses professional photography instruction combined with college preparation and mentoring to instill in participants the life-skills and confidence to pursue higher educational and career goals. At the same time, students develop exceptional photography skills and award-winning portfolios that increase their competitiveness in the college application process, and unlock opportunities for employment while in college.
