My name is Matt Brannagan, I am a teacher for the Hoffman Institute (www.hoffmaninstitute.org) a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is a world leader in providing personal development and discovery programs. To date, more than 70,000 people around the world have used the Hoffman Process to improve the quality of their lives and restore their relationships and their careers.
On April 7th I will be participating in the Hollywood Half-Marathon. I am fundraising at least $2500 to support our developing teen programs. For the past five years we have partnered with the New York City Youth-at-Risk in providing scholarships to over nearly 75 teens and mentors. Youth at Risk (YAR) is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring.
This year we provided our first program to a group of young adults from The Hyde School whose mission is to find a better way to prepare American youth for life by introducing and then developing the Hyde character development program in schools, families, and communities nation-wide.
I would be grateful for your support in helping me reach my goal of raising $2,500, which will support the further development of these valuable programs

Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I look forward to whatever support you can provide. If you have any questions about how these funds will be utilized, or about our teen programs, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
