Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles' Fundraiser:

Holy Martyrs Armenian School Build Day

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles' Photo

Holy Martyrs Armenian School will be helping to build new homes in in partnership with Habitat LA on Thursday, August 3, 2017. In addition to providing volunteer support for the day, the school is also raising funding to provide the lumber and other materials needed to build the homes that day. Any donation, large or small, will have a tremendous impact in forever transforming the lives of greater Los Angeles families in need.

Once completed, each of the two-story units will be approximately 1,250-1,300 square feet in size, containing three bedrooms and two baths, with a variety of green features, including drought tolerant landscaping, energy efficient heating systems, recycled-content insulation and ready for solar panel installation. All homebuyers will put in a minimum of 250 hours of sweat equity before moving into the homes. They also will pay back a portion of the mortgage.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Chris Untiet, Habitat LA Director of Faith Relations, at or at 424-246-3622.
