Holy Family School wrote -
The African proverb says, “It takes a village to raise a child.” We believe it takes a faith community to educate a child and secure Catholic education for the present and future generations.
Holy Family School and Church had its beginnings in a former apple orchard owned by a millionaire investment banker, and one of Florham Park’s elite, Lloyd Smith. Lloyd donated the land to his friend, Msgr. John O’Connell who envisioned not only a parish (Mass was celebrated at the Florham Park Roller Rink each Sunday before the church was built,) but also a school to serve the needs of the people in Florham Park in providing a Catholic education for their children.
Over the decades Holy Family School grew and thrived (at one point housing over 700 students.) Over the years Holy Family has experienced the natural flow of life’s of ups and downs, but always has proven itself strong. With the blessings of God, Holy Family has and will continue to be a source of strength and hope for the present and future generations.
We are asking your help to make Holy Family School succeed, today and long into the future. Your contribution will go toward all that is needed to make a school run efficiently, smoothly, and with great success. Contributions will help to defray the costs of academic programs, technology upgrades and maintenance, teacher salaries, and anything that will provide an outstanding education for our children. We are deeply grateful for your generous contributions in keeping HOLY FAMILY STRONG.
