I was born in lovely family. My father always teach me how to love something what we’ve got and help somebody who needs our help from our hands. My mother also say something about love and helping each other. I didn’t know the meaning of true loving and giving help until when I was 7 years old, tsunami hit Aceh in 2004. This disaster shocked me so deep. Then, my parents tell me to pick up unused clothes, shoes, and a blanket. We packed them all in big box and sent the box to the local government disaster management post. There is so many people who also sent a box of clothes, box of instant noodles, mineral waters and medicine. My father also donate money through bank account to the local government disaster management post. At that time, I don’t understand why we need to send them help even we don’t know them. They are not a part of our family and also not our friends. Then my mother tell me something important for my life. “Helping each other is not about who they are whether our family or not, it’s not important. All we should know is we are human and there is no difference between us. We help each other, because we are a human and human should learn to giving help to those who needs help. It’s about humanity. We may living in a different place, but we always staring to the same sky. Because we are living on the same roof, Earth.” From this point, I started to realise that so many poor and homeless people around the world. People who don't have house or place to stay safely. I have a vision that someday I would be able to help poor and homeless people around the world. And I should begin from my country first. I'm trying to help poor and homeless people in my country. I saw they slept under the bridge, park, near market and they looks so really uncomfortable. They also hungry, thirsty and some of them maybe sick and got headache. I started from give them money so they could buy some food, waters, clothes and sandals. But I think this could be dangerous. I'm affraid the money I give to them, will be used to buy alcohol, drugs, or maybe a weapons to rob somebody. Then I start to think how to give them more wisely and properly. I found a way how to do it. I bought some bread, snacks, and waters for them, and then packed it into a nice papper bag. I also decorate it with red or rainbow ribbon to increase the value of the paperbag and also make it looks like more pretty. It will be a great opportunity to see your participations in order to see the homeless people smile :) I will try from $100 and if it works, I'll inform to you and I will be happy to share it and upload a photo if this things works very well. I will never take some opportunity from this charity/crowd rise. All the money I got will be spent for the homeless in my country (Indonesia) and for your information, I'm not a US resident. I'm a 18 years old boy who lived in Jakarta, Indonesia. Thank you so much for your attention, have a nice day :) "Happiness is only real when shared" - Chris McCandless
