THE STORY:

Dear friends, Jon Griesimer found out that there is a Pacific War Hero Museum in Fredericksburg. Many of you know about Archie Scott's military service during World War II in the Marines. Jon invites the friends at St. Mark UMC to honor Archie's service by placing a plaque on the walls of the Memorial Courtyard in Fredericksburg. A 5 x7 plaque is $415 and Jon currently raised $200. This would be a great opportunity to show our love and appreciation for Archie's service. We would like to raise $900.00. One plaque for the wall and another one for him to keep. Any amount of money you donate will go toward these gifts and we open this opportunity to all the friends at St.Mark UMC since he is such a blessed member of our church who contributed greatly toward the growth of the church. P.S. We would like this to be a surprise and please don't share this information with Archie. Also when the plaque is ready to be placed on the wall of the museum, the church is invited to be part of this event which will most likely happen in July.
