BENEFITING: The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity
Holocaust survivor, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, prolific author and outspoken activist Elie Wiesel died Saturday at the age of 87.
I remember the first time I first read "Night," Mr. Wiesel's powerful account of his experience as a teenager in the Auschwitz concentration camp. I was 14. As horrifying as it all was, his words changed me...in the best of ways.
To honor him, we are raising money for The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity. The Foundation's mission is to combat indifference, intolerance, and injustice through international dialogue and youth-focused programs that promote acceptance, understanding and equality.
I obviously didn't know Elie Wiesel, but he had a profound impact on my life. I'm certain he had an impact on the lives of everyone reading this. I am hoping you will share this campaign and make a donation to his Foundation.
