BENEFITING: American Red Cross
The American Red Cross’ unwavering commitment to members of the U.S. military, its veterans and their families continues to grow and develop more than a century after Clara Barton first recruited nurses to support the U.S. Army. Today, the Red Cross is meeting the needs of a changing military and expanding services to veterans. Texas has the second largest veteran population in the nation with 1.7 million veterans. Thanks to generous donors, nearly 32,000 military services were provided by the North Texas Region last year.
Between Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day, May 17-26, help the American Red Cross continue to serve members of the military and their families by donating to the "Honoring Heroes" campaign. Your donations will allow the Red Cross to keep military families connected during emergencies, provide resiliency training, connect families with local resources, support wounded warriors and military hospitals and support the new Veterans and Family Services program.
To support military services in the North Texas Region, start by clicking the "Donate" button, click on "Your Local Chapter" and put #HonoringHeroes in the comment box. Follow the conversation on Twitter by using hashtag #HonoringHeroes.
They serve our nation. We're honored to serve them. Thank you for your support.
