22 veterans take their own life each day. On May 27th 2016, veterans, family members & supporters will march 22 miles to honor the fallen and raise awareness of PTSD to end this epidemic.
This patriotic ruck march will begin at Veterans Memorial Park in Glencoe (299 Park Ave) at 8 AM and will end at Milton Lee Olive Park around 5PM.
Our goal is to raise as much awareness and funds for Veterans and their families dealing with PTSD and the epidemic of Veteran suicide. No one will ever be forgotten! All funds will be donated to Chicago Veterans, a local non profit organization who is committed to building a strong, positive veteran community. Visit www.chicagovets.org for more information.
It's so easy to get lost in the controversies that divide us. But we believe, no matter what our race, religion, or political beliefs may be, that we should all be able to come together to help our men and women who have fought and continue to fight for our freedom.
We're not asking for much, we're just hoping you can skip the coffee in the morning and donate to this worthy cause.
Remember, every dollar counts but if you can't make a donation at this time, help us reach our goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter or by sending an e-mail to your friends and family.
We thank you in advance for your support!
