Thanks for visiting Team Hope and Comfort's 2017 Boston Marathon page! Matt, David and Sam are running to raise funds to help get essential hygiene items to people throughout Greater Boston who cannot afford products including soap, toothpaste and deodorant.
Hope and Comfort’s mission is to provide essential hygiene products to support and improve the health and self-esteem of school-aged children and young adults in need within Greater Boston. We work with many distribution partners including food pantries, Boys and Girls clubs and the Health and Wellness Department at the Boston Public Schools to get these items to those most in need. To date, we have distributed over 275,000 items.
“I love the toothpaste and toothbrush. It makes my teeth white and the toothbrush really cleans out the dirt. I brush my teeth at night now. I used to be embarrassed to smile because my teeth were yellow and now I can smile with my white teeth," from a student who received a hygiene kit at their Boston school.
