Women Unite; That has become my slogan as I am trying to raise $6000 for the Jane Ream Center at ChildAccra Clinic in Ghana. The Jane Ream Center was opened in 2016 to honor Jane Ream whose life was dedicated to elevating women from poverty. Her concern was for the health and welfare of women and children. Dr. Juliette Tuakii, is the director of the ChildAccra Clinic where a Maternal and Child health room has been dedicated, in honor of Jane. They need an OB/GYN table. This clinic serves the poorest of women in Accra, Ghana. Your donation could make the difference. Menstrual Hygiene Management(Sanitary Pads) will be distributed and young girls taught about their bodies and how to manage their monthly cycle. I will also be working with Diane Kellogg, who is developing disposable sanitary pads made from indigenous plants in Ghana. She is working with women who can make pads that cost less than American sanitary pads. We are hopeful to help these women create a business that will supply sanitary pads to women in Africa. We are hopeful; Women building a community of women who are addressing the needs of women. My birthday was in April. If I have made a difference in your life, please help me make a difference in the lives of young girls in Africa. Many stay home from school during the week of their monthly period. Can you send $10 to help me raise money for these two worthy goals.
