BENEFITING: Hope For The Future Inc
Because there are not enough foster homes willing to accept two or more siblings, these children not only lose a parent, but also their sisters and brothers. Separation from parents and siblings can be very scary and detrimental to these traumatized children. These children are struggling with feelings of worthlessness, confusion, frustration, sadness, and anger. Unaided, these children often have difficulty moving from childhood, through adolescence into adulthood. Without proper guidance the danger of delinquent behavior pattern, criminal activity, incarceration, early pregnancy, and drug abuse is real.
My petition to you.... Would you please assist in helping change the lives of so many children that are in need of our services? Your kind gift (monetary, furniture, personal items, technology equipment – computers, etc.) can provide hope for our children’s future! Any charitable contributions will make it possible for us to support sibling who have been placed in separate foster homes remain connected; not only with their siblings, but with their family, extended family or other individual that hold dear to their heart.
We serve children from newborn – 18 years of age that could benefit from Hope For The Future’s services. Again, will you be apart of the solution? These are the children of the future…
Hope For The Future, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created based on a simple idea -----TO KEEP SIBLINGS TOGETHER. Hope for the Future’s purpose is to allow children, who have been removed from their homes because of abuse and neglect, and who are under the care of the Department of Human Services (DHS), remain connected with their siblings/family by spending quality time with one another on a regular basis in a safe haven, home-like environment. HFTF offers parents the opportunity to develop parenting skills and improve parent-child interaction, as well as provide children the opportunity to remain bonded with their siblings by providing them the opportunity to have visits with one another on a regular basis until they are reunified back with their parents, placed in a kinship/relative home or adopted into a loving family.
