BENEFITING: Kensington Community Church
Guy, myself and Austin are joining with others from our church (Kensington) to raise money for wells/water for the Pokot people of Kenya. We three are riding our bikes in an event called the Assenmacher 100. It is a 100 mile event; though we are starting small by planning to complete 20 miles this year. Some individuals from our church are running a marathon to help with the same cause. When Jordan worked at Kensington, Hope Water Project was what he was employed to work with and when he moved to Atlanta and changed jobs, he was hopeful that Kensington would stay committed to this cause. They have been and this year we three have decided to help by riding our bikes in this event because Hope Water Project exists to provide HOPE through access to clean water. For this reason we are trying to raise $1000.
