Hope for ALS
Organized by: Goguma Chunguk
Background on the Beneficiary Seungil Hope Foundation (SHF) is a Korean non-profit organization that raises money for awareness of Lou Gehrig's disease (more popularly known as ALS) and for building Korea's first Lou Gehrig nursing home. The organization was named after Park Seungil, a former basketball coach who is currently suffering from the said disease. SHF is one of the organizations actively supported by some of the members of Girls' Generation (SeoHyun, SooYoung, and YoonA). It is also our regular/constant beneficiary, at Goguma Chunguk, for our charity projects. So far, we have donated a total of 2,628,628 KRW. Website: http://www.sihope.or.kr/ The Fundraiser As a part of our support project for Girls' Generation's upcoming comeback, we have decided to make our fourth donation to SHF. We are hoping that once again we could help them generate more funds for their activities. Those who will donate 30USD and above will receive a "With Ice" Bracelet (http://bit.ly/1SF3jam http://bit.ly/1LhLhZE), an ALS awareness accessory, for free. Other Ways You Can Help You may not have the means to contribute, but that doesn't mean you can't help: - Help us build awareness on ALS and gain donors through sharing information about the disease and the movement or by including #HopeforALS on your tweets. - Share this campaign to your fellow YongSeo and SNSD fans, family, and friends.
