Hi Devick Family!
Dear Jan,
Thank you so much for your generous donation to our annual Steps of Hope Walk for Autism. We raised close to $1200, which is HUGE, and which makes all of you Autism Super Heroes! Kyle and I will work on his thank you notes when he can make time for me in his busy schedule. :) Thank you again!

Dropping by to send you a March vote, and, as I have a little Irish ancestry in my family tree, share a little St. Patty's Day sentiment...

"An Old Irish Blessing
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!"

Hey Teresa, February vote …
Hey Teresa,

February vote coming your way! If you get a chance check out our computer fundraising project. After some AMAZING Crowdrise support last month we’re incredibly close to reaching our goal for a new computer center here in South Africa. As always if you’re looking for a great project to join we’d love to have you. As a bonus, for any new team members that gets a donation, I’ll write you a personalized poem rhyming your name no less than 3 times :) (quality of poem not guaranteed)

Thanks,

Corey

Hey Teresa,

Thanks again for your interest in Koh Scholar!

This tuesday is my 28th birthday, and since I live alone in Africa I’m celebrating by trying to raise enough money for 2 computers for our rural classroom :) ($260 of $974 so far) It would be most appreciated if you could spread the word to family, friends, and online contacts about this pretty awesome fundraising event! I can’t tell you how amazing it will be to connect our students to the internet for the very first time.

Thanks again and I hope your having an amazing 2011!

Stuff About Me:
I am a wife and a mother of 3 beautiful children. One of my daughters was born in Hossana Ethiopia. Through the process of adopting her, we learned so much about Ethiopia and came to love the people but grieve deeply for the hardships they must endure. My daughter weighed 10 pounds at the age of 2 because her Mother simply could not feed her. But her Mother chose to give her life and handed her over to Children's Home Society and Family services to bring her back to health and to let Children's Home find her a family who could keep her healthy. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my baby's biological Mother and family who are fighting just to survive. Fortunately Children's Home is doing amazing work for the people in Hossana. They have built a school, are employing many people, are helping families start businesses and so much more. So our family wants to help others learn about the program and then encourage others to donate and to sponsor kids in the school. We are already seeing a difference and are so excited for the potential this program has to impact so many lives, well to save them frankly.
