Sierra Leone has been one of the countries hardest hit by the Ebola outbreak, with 2849 confirmed cases; 926 deaths.*
However, despite the devastation - there is still HOPE!
Transmission can be prevented with the implementation of a series of preventive and control measures which include infection and prevention control, social mobilization and others tactics.
Talented Young People Everywhere (TYPE) - Sierra Leone is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Sierra Leone who is partnering with the Sierra Leone Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and local health officials to promote sanitation and sensation activities in the community. The resources and education provided to these children and their families will help reduce the risk of transmitting this disease.
