Hope House Haiti Benefit
Organized by: Hannah Hamilton Murray
Hope House Haiti Children's Home and School is an organization run by Yvrose Telfort Ismael in Fonds Parisien, Haiti. She and her husband are host to more than thirty children who are orphaned or have special needs. Their path to self-sufficiency has grown to include farming, raising chickens and other livestock. They are currently without any transportation and are located about an hour from the central commerce area of Haiti. We are trying to raise funds to purchase a good (possibly new) truck that they are able to use for transporting goods to market, as well as their children and members of the community with ongoing medical needs. We have estimated the cost for this truck to be around $45,000. Any additional funds raised will be used to help defray costs of the three schools that are owned and operated by Hope House Haiti.
