BENEFITING: Hope Program
ORGANIZER: Hope Program
EVENT DATE: Nov 06, 2016
I am privileged to have received the opportunity to run the New York Marathon for “The HOPE Program”.
It’s for an important cause. The HOPE Program is a non-profit organization that empowers people living in poverty to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment (www.thehopeprogram.org). Its main activities include training, supported job search, and job retention support.
It’s close to my heart. I have been supporting similar organizations in Switzerland for several years (i.e. “Surprise” and “Speranza”). As The HOPE Program is based on the same principles and objectives, I can strongly relate to their work.
I need your help. My fundraising objective for The HOPE Program is USD 3,000. With your donation, you can make a difference to someone who doesn’t even have what we all take for granted – a job.
It’s simple and quick. Therefore, I am kindly asking for your support to make this a successful charity run. Please use the red button "DONATE to this fundraiser" on the right-hand side.
I highly appreciate your support. Indeed, thank you very much!
