- 100% of every dollar raised is used to give clothes to children
Hopes Closet of Santa Cruz (HCSC) mission is to provide products, services and enrichment opportunities to families and children in need. We are an all volunteer-run organization. Thousands of items are distributed each year by HCSC including baby, toddler, youth and maternity clothing, toys, baby and toddler gear, books, linen, furniture and more. All given to the most vulnerable children and families in our community.
These services are made possible through the generosity of community and Jelli Beanz donors who give their gently used items and financial donations. Distribution to clients occurs in part through collaborative partnerships with other local community organizations like Early Head Start, Salud Para La Gente, Live Oak Family Resource Center, Sutter Health Maternity, Sienna House, Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes, and the Rowland and Pat Rebele Family Shelter, just to name a few.
